The makers of Kannappa unveiled Aishwariyaa Bhaskaran’s character poster. The poster depicts her character of Maremma, a witch. The team also added, “The chaos in the forests - Maremma.” This adds another intriguing character in the expansive world of the film. The makers have been creating buzz by releasing character posters of all the actors. 

Kannappa stars Manchu Vishnu in the titular role of the Shiva devotee, while the film also has Sarath Kumar, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, Mohan Lal, and Kajal Agarwal. The film, backed by 24 Frames Factory, is said to be a magnum opus. 

Kannappa is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, while cinematography and music are handled by Seldon Chau and Stephen Devassy, respectively. The makers are aiming for a pan-Indian release in December.
