The makers of Swag released their new single ‘Englandu Rani’ on Saturday. Renowned music director Vivek Sagar has composed the songs for the upcoming Hasith Goli directorial that stars Sree Vishnu in the lead role. 

Sung by Kailash Kher and penned by Swaroop Goli, ‘Englandu Rani’ is a playful and upbeat composition where the quirky lyrics talk about the importance of women's empowerment and gender quality in any ideal society. Compared to the previously released numbers, ‘Englandu Rani’ is less campy and more earnest in its commentary. The song video establishes Ritu Verma’s character as a strong-headed, independent individual who goes about her profession and life, like anyone else. 

Besides Sree Vishnu and Ritu Verma, Swag also stars Meera Jasmine and Saranya Pradeep in prominent roles. The teaser of the film, which was released nearly three weeks ago, promises Swag to be a wacky sci-fi comedy that unravels across multiple timelines and offers a satirical commentary on men-women interdynamics.

Produced under the banner of People Media Factory, the satire-comedy is slated for a theatrical release on October 4.
