The makers of Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR and Jahnvi Kapoor, announced on Wednesday that the next single from the film, titled ‘Ayudha Pooja,’ will be out on September 19, at 11:07 AM. The song penned by Ramajogayya Shastry is billed to an intense fiery addition to the album by Anirudh Ravichander. The high-budget actioner is helmed by director Koratala Siva.

The makers of Devara unveiled the film’s trailer a few days ago and it gave a glimpse into the world. The film is set against the backdrop of a coastal mountain region riddled with pirates and murderers. Jr NTR plays dual roles as a protector for the people and his fear-stricken son. Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, make their acting debuts in Telugu with the actioner. The film also stars Shine Tom Chacko and Prakash Raj, among others. The film’s technical crew includes Sreekar Prasad as editor, Sabu Cyril as production designer and Rathnavelu as the cinematographer. 

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Sudhakar Mikkilineni-Kosaraju Harikrishna backed Devara under the labels of NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, respectively. Devara is set to hit theatres on September 27.
