The makers of Mr. Bachchan, starring Ravi Teja and Bhagyashri Borse, announced on Monday that the film is set to have its OTT premiere on Netflix on September 12. The action entertainer which is an official remake of Ajay Devgn starrer Raid (2018) was helmed by director Harish Shankar. The film released on August 15 clashing with Puri Jagannadh’s Double iSmart at the box office. 

Mr. Bachchan revolves around an income tax officer, played by Ravi Teja, who raids the house of a corrupt politician, played by Jagapathi Babu. Bhagyashri Borse played the romantic interest of Ravi Teja in the film. The film has music by Mickey J Meyer, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni and cinematography by Ayananka Bose. 

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla under the banner of People Media Factory, Mr. Bachchan received mixed response from the audiences. Ravi Teja is said to be working in an action thriller directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu also starring Sree Leela.
