The makers of upcoming youthful comedy-drama Patang recently wrapped up their shoot. The upcoming film stars Pranav Kaushik, Preeti Padagala and Vamsi Pujit in the lead cast.

The makers on their X page updated that they finished the shoot with a massy song video, and have now commenced the post-production for the film.

The teaser, which was released in May, promises Patang to be a light-hearted film about the friendship between three young people and their coming-of-age graph against a sports backdrop. Praneeth Prattipati, who has earlier worked on web series as a writer, is making his directorial debut with the film.

Jose Jimmy is the music director for the film, and Shreemani has penned the lyrics. A few weeks ago, the makers had released their first single, ‘Andala Tarakasi,’ which has garnered over 2 million YouTube hits so far.

Patang is being produced by Vijay Sekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, and Sresh Kothinti under the banner of Cinematic Elements and Rishaan Cinemas. The cinematography is by Shakthi Arvind, and editing is by Chanakya Reddy Toorupu. The makers of Patang are yet to set a release date for their film.
