Prasanth Varma to launch Balakrishna’s son Mokshagnya with PVCU2

The film will be part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe that was kicked off earlier this year with HanuMan

Earlier, we had reported yesterday that Prasanth Varma is expanding his cinematic universe after HanuMan with another mytho-fantasy film. On Friday, the filmmaker officially launched Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son Mokshagnya Teja as the hero of his film. The announcement was made on the occasion of Mokshagnya’s birthday.

Prasanth also unveiled a still featuring Mokshagnya in a stylish avatar. The film, billed as the second film of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), will be based on an ancient legend from Indian mythology. Reportedly, Mokshagnya has undergone extensive training in fights and dance for the project, which involves plenty of action sequences.

Prasanth Varma stated in an official press note, “This is a huge honour and also a colossal responsibility to launch Mokshagnya to cinema. I will always be grateful for the trust Balakrishna Garu has put on me and my story. This script is inspired from our Itihasas, which are a gold mine of wonderful tales that need to be told.”

The film, untitled as yet, is being produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of SLV Cinemas, in association with Legend Productions. Prasanth is also the writer for the film.
