The makers of Mathu Vadalara 2 released a promotional single titled ‘Drama Nakko Mama’ on Friday. Kaala Bhairava is the music composer for the upcoming comic thriller.

What sets apart ‘Drama Nakko Mama’ from other recent film songs is the musical turn-up by the film’s female lead, Faria Abdullah, who has written, rapped for, and choreographed the funky number. The ‘Drama Nakko Mama’ also features other cast members like Sri Simha, Satya, Vennela Kishore, and Sunil and boasts of a colourful design and swanky production values. The rap lyrics are steeped in colloquial Hyderabadi lingo and stand in perfect sync with the song’s casual groovy vibe.

Mathu Vadalara 2 follows in the style of its predecessor, with direction by Ritesh Rana, cinematography by Suresh Sarangam, and editing by Karthika Srinivas. Chiranjeevi (Cherry) and Hemalatha Pedamallu have produced the film under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. The film opens in theatres on September 13.
