The primary team of the upcoming film 35 - Chinna Katha Kaadu assembled for a prerelease event on Tuesday. Among other guests attending the event was Nani, who spoke profusely of the entire cast, including Priyadarshi. Nani worked with Priyadarshi in films such as MCA Middle Class Abbayi, Nani’s Gang Leader, and Hi Nanna.

Addressing the audience, the Saripodhaa Sanivaaram actor said, “Personally, I like Priyadarshi a lot and have told him that many times. But content wise and performance, he has a very interesting combination.” Nani went on to laud Priyadarshi for his selection and understanding of scripts and his approach to his roles. He said, “The way he can play a hero in one film and a supporting role in another, or seeks perfection in his work, I feel he is Aamir Khan of Telugu cinema— and similarly, 35 will be the Taare Zameen Par of his filmography.”

It is to be noted that Priyadarshi plays a disciplinarian teacher in 35, which stars Nivetha Thomas and Vishwadev Rachakonda in lead roles.

35, which marks the writing and directorial debut of Nanda Kishore Emani, is slated for a theatrical release on September 7.
