The makers of Devara released their third single, ‘Daavudi’, on Wednesday. The upcoming Jr NTR starrer also features Janhvi Kapoor in a prominent role. 

Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, ‘Daavudi’ is a groovy and energetic dance number. Nakash Aziz and Akasa have rendered the composition with great vigour, while the playful lyrics are penned by Ramajogayya Sastry.

The ‘Daavudi’ song video has been picturised against the backdrop of a colourful and vibrant set, designed by Sabu Cyril. Rathanavelu is the cinematographer, and Sekhar Master is the choreographer.

Devara marks Anirudh’s return to Telugu cinema after 5 years; he had last composed for the Nani starrer Gang Leader. 

Koratala Siva is the director for the upcoming period action thriller. The film’s ensemble cast includes names like Saif Ali Khan, Shine Tom Chacko, Prakash Raj, and Srikanth, among others. Produced jointly under the banners of NTR Arts and Yavasudha Arts, Devara is a two-part film. Devara: Part 1 is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on September 27.
