Committee Kurrollu, the recently-released Niharika Konidela production, is now gearing up for its OTT premiere. The film, which largely featured newcomers in its lead cast, had a successful run at the box office. Reportedly, the film will begin streaming on ETV Win from September 12 onwards.

The coming-of-age drama, written and directed by Yadhu Vamsi, focused on the evolving friendship among a couple of boys amidst a turbulent socio-political climate. In our review for the film, we had noted, “Committee Kurrollu is a film that’s best watched on the big screen, possibly with a gang of friends. Although the film has too many ideas to deal with like nostalgia, casteism, reservation, political hierarchy, election malpractices, leadership, and the inability to face the truth, the emotional core still feels valid.”

Writer duo Venkata Subhash Cheerla and Kondal Rao Addagalla penned the dialogue. Anwar Ali was the editor, and Anudeep Dev composed the eclectic and evocative soundtrack for the film. In addition to the newcomers-filled lead cast, the film’s supporting cast featured names like Sai Kumar, Goparaju Ramana, Balagam Jayaram, Sri Lakhsmi, Kancherapalem Kishore, Kittayya, Ramana Bhargav, and Jabardasth Sathipandu.
