The theatrical trailer for the upcoming Telugu film Utsavam has been unveiled by the production team on Sunday. Arjun Sai is the writer and director of Utsavam, which stars Regina Cassandra and Dilip Prakash in the lead roles. The film explores the revival of theatre plays, just as the trailer suggests. The lead pair’s love story has a connection to a play that many senior actors like Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Rajendra prasad, Nasser, and Ali are set to enact in the film. The trailer also throws light on the lack of financial resources and needed recognition for theatre artists.

Utsavam is written and directed by Arjun Sai with music by Anup Rubens. The film is produced by Suresh Patil under the banner of Hornbill Pictures. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor for the film.

Utsavam is slated for its theatrical release on September 13 clasing with Ritesh Rana directorial Mathu Vadalara 2, starring Sri Simha and Satya. Interestingly, both films are distributed by Mythri Movie Makers, while the latter is also backed by them.
