The makers of Uruku Patela released their new single ‘Melam Mogene’ on Monday. Pravin Lakkaraju is the music director for the film, starring Tejus Kancherla and Khushboo Choudary in lead cast.

Sung by Saketh Komanduri and Sahithi Chaganti, ‘Melam Mogene’ is a peppy dance number, rustic in its beats. Sreejo has penned the lyrics. Additionally, Arun Kaundinya, Lokeshwar Edara, and Chaitu Satsangi have been credited under the chorus section.

The trailer of the film, released exactly a week ago, promises Uruku Patela to be a horror-comedy centred around Patela (Tejus) and Akshara (Khushboo), a young couple in love, where the girl’s identity turns out far more dangerous and scary that it appears to be. 

Directed by Vivek Reddy, Uruku Patela is produced by Kancherla Bala Bhanu under the banner of Lead Edge Pictures. The film has Sunny Kurapati as the cinematographer, and Sasank Vupputuri as the editor. Jithu Master, meanwhile, as the dance choreographer.

Uruku Patela is slated for a theatrical release on September 7.
