Eminent producer Dil Raju is bankrolling the upcoming Suhas starrer Janaka Aithe Ganaka. On Monday, the producer interacted with media, alongwith Suhas, the film’s female lead, Sangeerthana Vipin, director Sandeep Reddy Bandla and music director Vijay Bulganin. On the occasion, the producer spoke about the challenges of producing small-budget films in present times, and how some recent movies reassured him about his latest film.

Addressing the media, Dil Raju stated, “After making so many films, I feel confused about how to approach making films with new directors, how to bring out new talent, and often end up questioning whether we are doing the right thing.” The Game Changer producer further spoke about how the boxoffice reception of recent films like Aay and Committee Kurrollu gave him confidence. “The success of these small-budget movies, featuring new actors, gives confidence to people like me that ups and downs in this business are common; if you make a good film, people are willing to come to theatres," he said.

The producer also mentioned this is the reason why he became firm in his decision to have paid premieres for his film, in order to get higher chances for positive word-of-mouth and its direct impact on film’s collections. Janaka Aithe Ganaka is slated for a theatrical release on September 7.
