Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan took to X to convey wishes for Vijay’s political arrival and speech. Congratulating the Mersal actor, he wrote, “My Heartfelt Congratulations!! to Thiru, @actorvijay avl, for embarking on a political journey in Tamilnadu, the land of Saints & Siddhars.”

Talking about leaving his career, the actor said, “I’ve thrown away my career at its peak; I have thrown away my remuneration. I am here as your Vijay, let us walk with faith, let us walk with hope. Politics is not a cine field; it’s a battlefield. It’s serious. Whether it’s dealing with a snake or politics. If we decide to take it up with seriousness and a touch of humour, only then can we endure and handle opponents.”

Vijay also rolled out his TVK party’s principles in his speech and said, "No compromise in our political war. We will not take hatred politics into our hands. Secular social justice, state autonomy, inclusiveness, two-language policy, anti-corruption, rejection of regressive ideas, and drug-free Tamil Nadu are the other principals."

Since both the actors are big stars in their respective industries and have made entry into politics at their peak time in cinema, there is considerable comparison between their journeys. Their mutual fans are elated with the tweet.

On the work front, Vijay’s 69th film with director H Vinod is in production, while Pawan Kalyan is finishing his current film commitments of Hari Hara Veera Mallu and OG.
