35 - Chinna Katha Kaadu, the Nivetha Thomas-Priyadarshi starrer, which had a theatrical release in September, has been chosen for screening at this year’s International Film Festival of India. The slice-of-life drama will be screened under the Indian Panorama section of the festival that will be held in Goa from November 20 to 28.

Written and directed by debutant Nanda Kishore Emani, 35 - Chinna Katha Kaadu told the story of a simple homemaker (Nivetha) and her earnest struggles to help her elder son, who has been struggling at school, to overcome his academic barriers. Rana Daggubati was the presenter for the film.

35 - Chinna Katha Kaadu is one of the 20 films to be screened under the ‘Indian Panorama’ section. Additionally, the Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD will be screened at the festival, under its ‘Mainstream Cinema’ section.

This year marks the 55th edition of the festival, which is being organised by the National Film Development Corporation, Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in collaboration with the State Government of Goa.
