The makers of Dear Krishna unveiled their first single ‘Chiru Prayam’ on Thursday. The upcoming film marks the Telugu debut for Mamitha Baiju.

As claimed by the makers, ‘Chiru Prayam’ is the last recorded song by the legendary singer, late SP Balasubrahmanyam. Composed by Hariprasad, ‘Chiru Prayam’ is a heartfelt song about dealing with tough times in life with resilience. The lyrics are penned by Giripatla.

Set in 2018, Dear Krishna will reportedly tell the story of a young student who believes in Lord Krishna despite all the setbacks in his life, including a critical medical condition. The makers also stated that the film is based on the true incidents from the life of Akshay Krishnan, the actor who is playing the role in the film as well. The first poster of Dear Krishna was unveiled two weeks ago, on the occasion of Vijayadashmi.

Dear Krishna is being produced under the banner of PNB Cinemas, with PN Balaram serving both as writer and producer. Dinesh Babu, meanwhile, is the cinematographer, screenplay writer, and director. Rajeev Ramachandran is the editor.
