Teja Sajja, who became a household name with his mythological superhero film HanuMan, will be seen in Mirai next. The film, directed by Karthik Gattamneni, is billed as a historical superhero drama that will be released on a pan-India scale, much like Prasanth Varma’s HanuMan.

Reportedly, the makers are planning to keep their production budget 40 crores, which was also the budget for the Prasanth Varma directorial. Considering the box office success of HanuMan, the makers of Mirai are confidently expecting to recover their budget and break-even with their non-theatrical distribution rights alone, much before the film’s release, especially considering Teja’s fanbase in the Hindi and Kannada belt.

Mirai also stars Ritika Nayak and Manchu Manoj in prominent roles. Gowra Hari is the music director for the film. Produced by People Media Factory, Mirai has been slated for a release in April next year.

Kartik Gattamneni’s previous film was the Ravi Teja starrer Eagle, which released in February this year.
