The makers of Pottel released their official trailer on Friday. The upcoming social drama stars Yuva Chandraa Krishna, Ananya Nagalla, and Ajay in prominent roles and is directed by Sahit Mothkhuri.

Yuva Chandraa plays the role of a responsible and caring person who wants to send his young daughter to school and get her educated. However, because of the superstitious beliefs of fellow villagers, he is banished from doing so. How the father struggles to fulfil his duty while facing ostracisation from everyone around him forms the crux of the story. Ajay, who was recently seen in Devara: Part 1, seemingly plays an influential godman who plays a prominent role in oppressing the protagonist.

Sahit Mothkhuri has also written script for the film, which is jointly produced by Nisa Entertainments, Pragnya Sannidhi Creations and Sahit Mothkhuri Writings. Shekar Chandra is the music director. Monish Bhupathi Raju is the cinematographer, and Karthika Srinivas is the editor.

Releasing on October 25, Pottel will face stiff competition at the box office against films like Roti Kapda Romance, Narudi Brathuku Natana, and Laggam.
