Gowtham Tinnanuri, who rose to limelight with his 2019 Nani-starrer Jersey, is gearing up for his next release as a writer-director, titled Magic. Sithara Entertainments, one of the production banners for the film, announced December 21 as the release date for Magic, on the occasion of popular music director Anirudh’s birthday.

Anirudh, who composed the much-acclaimed soundtrack for Jersey, is onboard for Magic as well. Billed as a coming-of-age musical drama, Magic revolves around the story of four teenagers who decide to chase their dreams as they come together to compose an original song for their college festival. Sara Arjun, Aakash Srinivas, Anmol Kajani, and Siddharth Tanuku play the lead roles.

Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya serve as the producers, with Srikara Studios serving as the presenter. National award winning editor Navin Nooli is in charge of editing for Magic, while cinematography is by Girish Gangadharan. More details about the film’s primary crew are to be announced soon. Magic will have a theatrical release in both Telugu and Tamil.

Sara Arjun's upcoming projects include the new-age thriller Euphoria, directed by Guna Sekhar.
