The makers of upcoming Nandamuri Balakrishna-Boyapati Srinu film officially announced the film’s title on Wednesday. BB4 is now Akhanda 2.

Akhanda 2 is the official sequel to the 2021 film Akhanda, which too starred Balakrishna in the lead role. Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, Akhanda 2 is mounted as a massive pan-India project, marking the first of such kind for both Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu. 

The makers also released a new poster on the occasion, which features plenty of spiritual elements like a Lingam and a Shiva Linga, symbolizing divine significance. The title is accompanied by the caption ‘Thaandavam,’ flanked by two Damarukams, which represent the frenzied dance of Lord Shiva. The Himalayas in the background enhance the devotional element of the title poster. 

Thaman S is the music director for Akhanda 2. On the technical front, Tammiraju is the editor. Meanwhile, the cinematography will be co-helmed by Santoshh D Detakae and C Ramprasad. AS Prakash is the art director.

More details about the primary cast of Akhanda 2 are yet to be announced.
