Theatre and TV actor Hanu Kotla, who has earlier played small parts in films like Eeswar, will soon be seen headlining the thriller-drama The Deal. The Ishwar actor is also directing the film. The team of The Deal held a ceremony recently, to announce October 18 as the release date for their film. The event was attended by producers Basireddy and Miryala Ravinder Reddy, besides the primary cast and crew.

On the occasion, Hanu Kotla stated that they are also planning to make a sequel for their film. The Deal is produced by H Padma Ramakanta Rao and Ramakrishna Kolivi under Citadel Creations and DigiQuest banners, while Dr. Anita Rao is the presenter. 

The film marks the debut for Sai Chandana and Dharani Priya as the female leads. Raghu Kunche, Ravi Prakash, and Mahesh Yadlapalli, among others, comprise the ensemble cast. RR Dhruvan is the music director for the film. The cinematography and editing are by Surendra Reddy and Shravan Katikaneni, respectively.
