Superstar Chiranjeevi graced the pooja ceremony for the Abhishek Nama directorial Nagabandham - The Secret Treasure on Monday. The film is billed as an epic socio-fantasy with a high-budget. The film stars Virat Karrna, who made his debut with Pedda Kapu, Nabha Natesh and Ishwarya Menon. 

Kishore Annapureddy is bankrolling Nagabandham under his banner NIK Studios in association with Abhishek Pictures. Laxmi Ira and Devansh Nama are presenting this socio-fantasy. The film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma, BS Avinash among others. The makers have announced that shooting will commence on the October 23.

Abhishek Nama is said to have written a story blending elements of spirituality and adventure. The story revolves around Nagabandham which protects treasures in the 108 Vishnu temples of the country. Soundar Rajan S is the film's lensman, while Abhe is the music director. Kalyan Chakravarthy penned the dialogues, while Santosh Kamireddy is the editor. Ashok Kumar is the production designer.
