Pottel, the upcoming Ananya Nagalla starrer, is ready to hit theatres on October 25. On Monday, the makers of the film released a character poster for Ajay, who plays a major role in the film.

Ajay, who was recently seen in Jr NTR starrer Devara, will be seen playing a man named Patel in Pottel. The newly-released poster features Ajay in an intense and macabre avatar, where he can be seen holding two violent dogs on leash who are ready to attack. By the looks of it, Ajay’s character will be the antagonist figure to the simpleton protagonist, played by Yuva Chandraa Krishna.

Pottel is produced by Nishank Reddy Kudithi of NISA Entertainments and Suresh Kumar Sadige of Pragnya Sannidhi Creations. Directed by Sahit Mothkhuri, the film promises to tell the story of an underprivileged villager and a victim of caste-driven politics in his village, who is forced to run away along with his daughter Saraswati, but returns after undergoing a spiritual reincarnation, which in turn changes how the village receives him. Shekar Chandra is the music director for the film. The cinematography is headed by Monish Bhupathi Raju. Karthika Srinivas is the editor, and Narni Srinivas is the art director.

Upon its release, Pottel will have a clash at the boxoffice against other mid-budget films like Laggam, Roti Kapda Romance, and Narudi Brathuku Natana.
