Actor Kiran Abbavaram is coming with the period-thriller KA, which is said to have a pan-Indian release. The actor recently attended the podcast Permit Room and talked about the inspiring experiences that made him want to be an actor.
Kiran Abbavaram reflected that he mostly stayed in hostels during his education period and said, “Because I stayed in hostels until my intermediate, watching a movie was a big thing for me during my educational years. Whenever we had an outing, I had the goal of covering all the released films. Back then, the ticket price was Rs 50 in Tirupati. On that single day of outing, I used to watch movies non-stop. An unforgettable experience for me was Jr NTR’s film, Aadi. I vividly remember the mania I witnessed during that film. I saw people regardless of age dancing, shouting, going crazy when Jr NTR gaaru does the iconic thigh slap.”
He further talked about how he became a fan of Pawan Kalyan, “My elder brother’s influence rubbed off on me. My brother was a Chiranjeevi fan. And Chiranjeevi’s brother, Pawan Kalyan made an entry into films at that time. One of the first films I watched was Kushi. Because my elder brother was Chiranjeevi’s fan, I became his brother Pawan Kalyan’s fan.”
KA is Kiran Abbavaram's first pan-India project, produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy under the name Srichakras Entertainments. Kiran Abbavaram stars as a postman in a village who uncovers a mystery. Vishwas Daniel and Sateesh Reddy Masam did the cinematography for KA, while Sree Vara Prasad edited it and Sudheer handled the production design. The release date for the period film is yet to be announced.
