Mamitha Baiju to make her Telugu debut with Dear Krishna; makers unveil poster

The film is based on the true story of Akshay Krishnan, who also plays the lead role

Mamitha Baiju, who gained a lot of popularity with Telugu audience earlier this year with Premalu, will soon make her Telugu film debut with Dear Krishna. The makers of the film unveiled the first poster of their film on Saturday, on the occasion of Vijayadashmi.

Set in 2018, the film is billed as a youthful entertainer, and will reportedly tell the story of a young student who believes in Lord Krishna despite all the setbacks in his life, including a critical medical condition. The makers also stated that the film is based on the true incidents from the life of Akshay Krishnan, the actor who is playing the role in the film as well. 

Dear Krishna is being produced under the banner of PNB Cinemas, with PN Balaram serving both as writer and producer. Dinesh Babu, meanwhile, is the cinematographer, screenplay writer and director. Hari Prasad is the music director, and Rajeev Ramachandran is the editor.
