Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Viswam completed their censorship formalities. The Gopichand-starrer action entertainer has received a U/A certificate from the Censor Board.

Viswam marks Sreenu Vaitla’s return to film direction after six years; his previous film Amar Akbar Anthony, starring Ravi Teja and Ileana D’Cruz, was a box-office failure. The latest trailer for the film, which was released on Sunday, promises a quintessential entertainer with all the ingredients the Venky filmmaker has come to be known for.

TG Vishwa Prasad is producing the film under his banner, People Media Factory. Upon it’s release on October 11, Viswam will clash at the box office against Janaka Aithe Ganaka and Maa Nanna Superhero.

Gopichand was last seen in Bhimaa, another actioner that was released in March. Kavya Thapar, meanwhile, recently played a substantial role in Puri Jagannath’s film Double iSmart.
