Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Kali released their new single ‘Pranam’ on Thursday. Jeevan Babu, also known as JB is the music composer for the film.

Siva Sashu, who is the director for Kali, turns lyricist for the song. Sung by Mohana Bhogaraju, ‘Pranam’ is an eerily intense composition that captures the existential crisis of the film’s protagonist (Prince Cecil). Also starring Naresh Agastya and Neha Krishnan, Kali reportedly revolves around a reclusive and suicidal man who has decided to end it all until he is visited by an all-knowing stranger one night.

Kali is produced by T Leela Gowtham Varma under the banner of Rudra Creations. The ensemble cast of the film includes actors like Gowtham Raju, Gundu Sudarshan, Kedar Shankar, and CVL Narasimha Rao, among others. Vijay Vardhan is the editor, while cinematography is co-helmed by Nishanth Katari and Ramana Jagarlamundi.

Kali hits theatres tomorrow, on October 4, facing competition from films like Sree Vishnu starrer Swag and Chandrahass’ debut vehicle Ramnagar Bunny.
