Devara: Part 1, the Jr NTR starrer action vehicle that hit theatres last week, has been received very well at the box office both in domestic and international markets. Now, the makers have decided to add the ‘Daavudi’ song to their screenings across the board, starting from October 4.

Earlier, since the day of film’s release, many filmgoers took to social media expressing their displeasure about the ‘Daavudi’ song-and-dance sequence not being part of the film. The catchy dance number, sung by Nakash Aziz and Akasa, had achieved great popularity and has garnered over 45 million hits on Youtube.

Devara currently has 3 songs in its theatrical print — Chuttamalle, Fear Song, and Ayudha Puja—all of which became very popular as well. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director for Devara: Part 1, marking his first soundtrack for a Jr NTR starrer. He had earlier worked as a playback singer for RRR
