Nithiin-Nithya Menen’s classic love story Ishq to re-release on this date

The romantic comedy, written and directed by Vikram K Kumar, released in theatres on February 24, 2012

Nithiin and Nithya Menen starrer Ishq is set for rerelease on November 30 on the occasion of Nithiin's birthday. The subtle love story, which released on February 24, 2012, was a blockbuster and soon gained immense popularity among cinephiles. The makers even announced that Nithiin and Vikram Kumar will be attending one of the shows in Hyderabad.

Ishq, written and directed by Vikram K Kumar, revolves around Rahul (Nithiin) and Priya (Nithya Menen), who have a chance encounter in an airport and fall in love. But Priya’s bully brother (Ajay) opposes the match owing to his jaded past with Rahul. How the couple convinces the brother forms the plot. The film particularly gained attention for its comical moments with chartbuster songs composed by Anup Rubens. 

Ishq’s technical crew includes cinematography by PC Sreeram and editing by Sreekar Prasad. Meanwhile, Nithiin is gearing up for the release of Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula on December 20. Nithya Menen is shooting for the Dhanush directorial Idli Kadai. Nithiin also has Yellamma with Venu Yeldandi and Thammudu in the pipeline.
