Writer-director Mohana Krishna Indraganti, who has his upcoming comedy thriller Sarangapani Jathakam, recently spoke about his upcoming project Jataayu with Vijay Deverakonda in an interview. He said, “Jataayu with Vijay Deverakonda is my dream project. We are yet to arrive at clarity with it. Dil Raju gaaru who is supposed to produce it, is busy with his releases. Once we get free, we will finalise it.” Further, he talked about the vision of the film, “I want that film to be on international standards. Even people in far-off countries should feel a connection to it. There will be a fresh connection with Ramayana in the film. In a way, we haven’t seen before.”

Actor Vijay Deverakonda unveiled the teaser for the Priyadarshi-starrer Sarangapani Jathakam recently. The film revolves around Sarangapani, a staunch believer in astrology, whose seemingly simple life, centered on office, family, and friends, takes a dramatic turn following a chilling prediction. The film delves into profound themes of determinism and free will. With a stellar ensemble cast that includes Tanikella Bharani, VK Naresh, Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore, and Viva Harsha, the film is set to deliver an intriguing cinematic experience.

Sarangapani Jathakam is written and directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under Sridevi Movies. Starring Priyadarshi in the titular role and Roopa Koduvayur as the female lead, the film aims to be a complete family entertainer, exploring the interplay of fate and human action.

Sarangapani Jathakam’s technical crew comprises music director Vivek Sagar, cinematographer PG Vinda, and editor Marthand K Venkatesh. The film is scheduled to release on December 20, clashing with Allari Naresh's Bachhala Malli.
