Actor Vijay Deverakonda unveiled the teaser for Sarangapani Jathakam, starring Priyadarshi Pulikonda, on Thursday. The film revolves around Sarangapani, a staunch believer in astrology, whose seemingly simple life, centred on office, family, and friends, takes a dramatic turn following a chilling prediction. The teaser offers glimpses of his unsettling nightmares and the comical chaos that ensues, promising a blend of humour and suspense. A light-hearted thriller, the film delves into profound themes of determinism and free will. With a stellar ensemble cast that includes Tanikella Bharani, VK Naresh, Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore, and Viva Harsha, the film is set to deliver an intriguing cinematic experience.

Sarangapani Jathakam is written and directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under Sridevi Movies. Starring Priyadarshi in the titular role and Roopa Koduvayur as the female lead, the film aims to be a complete family entertainer, exploring the interplay of fate and human action.

Sarangapani Jathakam marks the third collaboration between Indraganti and Krishna Prasad, following the critically acclaimed Nani’s Gentleman and Sudheer Babu’s Sammohanam. Behind the scenes, the crew boasts experienced talent like music director Vivek Sagar, cinematographer PG Vinda, and editor Marthand K Venkatesh. The makers recently unveiled the first single from the film and it garnered immense buzz.

Sarangapani Jathakam is all set to hit screens on December 20.
