We had recently reported that filmmaker Shankar’s director Aditi Shankar will make her Telugu debut with the upcoming Bellamkonda Sreenivas-starrer Bhairavam. On Friday, the makers officially introduced Anandhi as the cast member of their film.

The Bhairavam team shared a character poster for Anandhi, who plays a woman named Neelima. The caption read, “Introducing the mesmerizing Anandhi as the Teluginti Andham 'Neelima' from the intense world of #Bhairavam. She will light up the big screens with her astounding performance.” Anandhi’s other popular Telugu films include Sridevi Soda Center and Zombie Reddy.

Besides Sreenivas, the primary cast of Bhairavam already includes Manchu Manoj, Nara Rohith, and Divya Pillai. Written and directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, Bhairavam is the official remake of the Soori-starrer Garudan, which was released earlier this year. The film is presented by Dr Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios and produced by KK Radhamohan under the banner of Sri Sathya Sai Arts. Sricharan Pakala is the music composer for the film. On the technical front, the production design is by Brahma Kadali, and the cinematography is by Hari Vedantam.

The makers of Bhairavam are yet to announce a release date for their film.
