The makers of Aadi Saikumar’s next film officially launched the project on Saturday with a muhurtham puja ceremony. On the occasion, the makers also released the film’s first look and announced the title—the film is now titled SI Yugandhar. Among others, Sundeep Kishen attended the puja ceremony and wished the team for their new venture. 

The first look poster features an intense-looking Aadi looking straight into the camera in a black and white close shot, with a gun in his hands and blood smeared over his face and palms. Directed by Yaswanth Naik, SI Yugandhar is billed as a suspense thriller.

The film also stars Meghalekha as the female lead, besides featuring Rakendu Mouli and Lavanya Sahukara in the supporting cast. Rakendu said on the occasion, “For years I focused solely on writing. Even though I liked some roles, I didn't do any. However, I like this story very much; that's why I agreed to do that character. It was a pleasure to work with Adi for the first time. The director has told this story brilliantly.”

Pravan Giridharan is the music director, and Ravindranath T is the cinematographer. SI Yugandhar is produced by Pradeep Juluru under the banner of Sri Pinaaka Motion Pictures. 

Aadi Saikumar, who is the son of veteran actor Saikumar, was last seen in the 2023 film Das Ka Dhamki.
