Annie, who appeared in films like Nindha and Yevam earlier this year, will soon be seen headlining the upcoming thriller titled GPL (God’s Premier League). The makers launched their film officially on Wednesday, with a muhurtham pooja ceremony.

GPL is being directed by debutant Rao GM Naidu. The film, which stars Pawan Shankar as the male lead, also features prominent actors like Tanikella Bharani, Hebah Patel, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, and Naveen in the supporting cast. Mani Sharma has been signed as the music director, while Ram Kanda will be the cinematographer. 

GPL also marks the first feature film production for Allu Arts Production. The film’s producer, Allu Sai Laxman, said on the occasion, “GPL is a movie that entertains all sections of the audience. We are planning to complete the shooting of this film in a single schedule.”

The first schedule of GPL will commence tomorrow, on November 14. Reportedly, the makers are planning to shoot their film primarily in Vizag and Kodaikanal.
