Ace music composer SS Thaman, who made a special appearance at singer Karthik’s event, candidly confirmed that he is composing music for Pushpa 2: The Rule. Earlier we reported that the Allu Arjun starrer is going through a major last minute change. The production team decided to have an alternate background score composed with noted musicians SS Thaman, Sam CS and Ajaneesh Loknath. It is rumoured that the director Sukumar and superstar Allu Arjun are unsatisfied with the music composer Devi Sri Prasad’s background score yet have decided to retain his songs for the period gangster drama. Now the extent of the music replacement is yet to be confirmed officially. 

Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, and Jagadeesh Pratap, among others. Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled the much anticipated franchise in association with Sukumar Writings. The first part was about the rise of Pushpa Raj, a Chittor based red sandal smuggler, and the makers promise that the sequel will be more enthralling and edge of the seat.  

Pushpa 2: The Rule's technical crew includes cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and editing by Naveen Nooli. The much awaited sequel is releasing on December 5 in major pan-Indian languages.
