We had recently reported the news of Hombale Films signing a three-film deal with Prabhas. The production banner on their social media page had also mentioned that Salaar 2 will be the first film to go on floors. Now, amidst the speculations about the primary cast of Salaar 2, Korean actor Lee Dong-seok, better known by the stage names Ma Dong-Seok and Don Lee, has shared an Instagram post about the movie, leading to reports about him being part of the cast list.

Taking to his Instagram stories section, Lee Dong-seok, who is popular for his work in The Villagers and Train to Busan, shared a Salaar 2 poster, with a small thumbnail of himself embedded in the same. 

If the reports turn out to be true, Salaar 2 shall mark Lee’s debut project in Indian cinema. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur and directed by Prasanth Neel, Salaar 2 is the official sequel to Salaar: Part 1—Ceasefire, the 2023 action-drama that starred Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Additionally, the sequel reportedly stars Sriya Reddy, Bobby Simha, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu.
