Actor Anushka Shetty is all set to make her grand comeback to Telugu cinema with her upcoming project titled Ghaati, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. Earlier this morning, the makers had unveiled the first look of the film. Now the first glimpse video has been unveiled online.

The 45-second glimpse video establishes Anushka as a rural woman of tribal origins who is out on a violent quest to seek revenge. The makers added a caption along with the video: “A story of a woman who is a victim, a criminal, and a legend. Ghaati - a raw tale from the valleys of India.”

The story for Ghaati has been penned by Chintakindi Srinivas Rao, while Sai Madhav Burra has penned the dialogues. Thota Tharani is the art director, and Manojh Reddy Katasani is the cinematographer. Ghaati has been produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamundi under First Frame Entertainment, and UV Creations is the presenter. Nagavelli Vidya Sagar is the music director. 

Anushka Shetty and Krish Jagarlamundi had earlier famously collaborated in the 2010 anthology film Vedam, which marked a major turning point in Anushka’s career. 

The makers of Ghaati are planning to release the film in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
