The makers of Killer: Part 1—Dream Girl unveiled the first look of the female lead, Jyothi Poorvaaj, on Sunday. The film is being directed by Poorvaaj. 

While the first look poster features Jyothi as a regular girl next door, standing with a bag of groceries, her mirror reflection displays a powerful female robot. The common factor in both of them is the axe they are holding. Killer promises to be a violent actioner with an element of science fiction. The first look poster also carries the tagline, ‘Unleashing Super She.’ The film also marks the first venture for Jyothi as a female lead, who is popular for her work in many TV shows. 

Director Poorvaaj is also the scriptwriter and the producer for the film, producing in collaboration with Prajay Kamat and A Padmanabhareddy under the banner of Think Cinema and Merge XR. Additionally, he will also be seen playing a pivotal role in the film. Suku Poorvaaj’s upcoming projects include A Masterpiece, which has a superhero-based storyline. He has previously made films like Shukra (2021) and Matarani Maunamidhi (2022).

On the technical front, the cinematography is by Jagadeesh Bommisetti. Meanwhile, VFX and virtual production are supervised by Merge XR. Asheer Luke and Suman Jeeva Ratan have composed the music for the film. More details about the film's primary cast are yet to be announced.
