Naresh Agastya, who was recently seen in the psychological thriller Kali, is gearing up for the release of his next OTT series, titled Vikkatakavi. The show, produced by Ram Talluri, will premiere on Zee5 on November 28.

The streamer made the announcement, adding the caption, “The suspenseful and suspicious tale of Amaragiri and the mystery that follows it. It will see you on screens from 28th November.” Megha Akash plays the female lead in the series that's billed as a mystery thriller. The show is being bankrolled under the banner of SRT Entertainment, which is also producing the upcoming Vishwak Sen starrer Mechanic Rocky.

Pradeep Maddali is the director, and Tara Desharaj is the scriptwriter. Ajay Arasada is the music director. Shoeb Siddiqui is the cinematographer, while editing is helmed by Sai Babu Talari.

Pradeep has earlier directed the 2023 series Sarvam Shakthi Mayam. Vikkatakavi, planned as a bilingual, will also release in Tamil.
