Gopichand starrer Viswam is out on Prime Video, and the makers announced the news on Friday. The action entertainer written and directed by Sreenu Vaila released on October 11 in theatres. The film, also starring Kavya Thapar, received negative reception and had an underwhelming performance at the box office. 

Viswam marked Sreenu Vaitla’s return to the big screens after the debacle of his 2018 Ravi Teja starrer Amar Akbar Anthony. Expectations were high since Srinu Vaitla is a crowd-favourite director who gave classics like Venky, King, and Dookudu. TG Vishwa Prasad produced the film in partnership with Chitralayam Studios. The film has music by Chaitan Bharadwaj, while KV Guhan handled cinematography, and Amar Reddy edited it.

Viswam’s cast also has Vennela Kishore, Jisshu Sengupta, Naresh, Sunil among others. The action entertainer clashed at the box office with Suhas starrer Janaka Aithe Ganaka and Sudheer Babu’s Maa Nanna Superhero.
