In the last couple of days, many Telugu filmmakers have postponed the release of their films, like Satyabhama, Harom Hara, Gangs of Godavari, and Love Mouli. Now, the makers of Music Shop Murthy have set a new release date for their film. The slice-of-life drama starring Chandini Chowdary and Ajay Ghosh will hit theatres on June 14.

Music Shop Murthy primarily tells the story of a  middle-aged music shop owner (Ajay Ghosh) who finally decides to pursue his ambitions of becoming a famous DJ. He finds help realising his dreams from another DJ professional (Chandini).

The film also features Amit Sharma, Amani, Bhanu Chandar, and Dayanandh Reddy in the supporting cast. Pawan is the music director for the film. Sreenivas Bejugam is the cinematographer and Bonthala Nageswara Reddy is the editor.

Siva Paladugu is the writer and director for the film, while Harsha Garapati and Ranga Rao Garapati are producing it under the banner of Fly High Cinemas. At the box office, Music Shop Murthy will clash at the box office against Sudheer Babu starrer Harom Hara.
