Manchu Manoj character look in Mirai to be unveiled on May 20

The fantasy drama stars Teja Sajja in the lead role

The makers of Teja Sajja-starrer Mirai shared an update about their film’s cast on Friday. The character look for Manchu Manoj, who plays a major role in the film, will be unveiled on Monday, May 20. 

The official post from People Media Factory, the film’s producers, read, “A massive force emerges from the shadows of the ancient narratives. Unveiling the Mighty Rocking Star Manchu Manoj a.k.a. The Black Sword, from the world of Mirai on May 20th.”

Mirai is being directed by Karthik Gattamneni, who has earlier made films like Surya vs Surya (2015) and Ravi Teja-starrer Eagle which released in February this year. Mirai marks the 36th production for People Media Factory. Besides Teja Sajja and Manchu Manoj, the film will feature Ritika Nayak as the female lead. Gowra Hari is signed as the music director, and Srinagendra Tangala as the art director.

The makers of Mirai had announced the title and the release date for their film a few weeks ago. Mirai is tentatively scheduled for an April 2025 release.
