Trailer of Ramakanth-starrer Samudrudu out

The film also stars Suman and Avanthika in prominent roles

The makers of Samudrudu released their official trailer on Thursday morning. The upcoming action-drama stars Ramakanth in the lead role.

By the looks of its trailer, Samudrudu tells the story of a commonplace fish-seller (Ramakanth) who rebels against a local supplier cartel that uses violence to coerce local sellers and who decides to go independent in his trading. The protagonist is helped in his endeavours by other villagers and an earnest cop (Suman). Avanthika plays the female lead opposite Ramakanth.

Samudrudu is produced by Badavath Kishan under the production banner of Keerthana Productions. Nagesh Naradasi, whose previous directorial venture was the 2018 film Viraj, is the director for the Ramakanth-starrer. Subhash Anand is the music director.

The makers of Samudrudu are yet to announce a release date for their film.
