New single ‘Godavari Atu Vaipo’ from Sasivadane out

Rakshit Atluri, who rose to limelight with the 2020 film Palasa 1978, will next be seen in the romantic drama Sasivadane. The makers of the film released their new single ‘Godavari Atu Vaipo’ on Thursday.

Composed by Anudeep Dev, ‘Godavari Atu Vaipo’ is a playful and upbeat number about a lover seeking his beloved. Anudeep, who also lent his vocals, rendered the song with a nasal twang, adding to the fun. Kittu Vissapragada has penned the lyrics. Additionally, Vasa Pavani, Lakshmi Meghana, Maneesha Padranki, and Rachita have provided the chorus vocals.

Komalee Prasad plays the female lead in Sasivadane. Komalee’s last major film appearance was in the 2022 film Hit: The 2nd Case. The film’s supporting cast includes actors like Rangasthalam Mahesh, Sriman, Jabardasth Bobby, Praveen Yandamuri, and Deepak Prince.

Saimohan Ubbana is the writer-director for Sasivadane, while Ahiteja Bellamkonda serves as the producer, bankrolling the film under his banner AG Film Company in collaboration with Abhilasha Reddy Goddala’s SVS Studios. Shrie Saikumaar Daara is the cinematographer, and Garry BH is the editor.

Sasivadane is slated to release on April 19.
