Vijay Deverakonda-Mrunal Thakur starrer Family Star is slated to release on April 5. Ahead of their film’s release, the makers released their third single, while also sharing an update on their trailer launch.

The new single titled ‘Madhuramu Kadha’ is a soft, romantic number composed from the female protagonist’s perspective. Sung by Shreya Ghoshal, ‘Madhuramu Kadha’ becomes more interesting as a composition with its use of classical-based chorus verses in the interlude. Gopi Sundar has composed the music, while Sri Mani has penned the lyrics. A few days ago, the makers had released their second single 'Kalyani vacha Vacha' which is a celebratory wedding song.

Family Star is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Parasuram Petla, who had previously directed Vijay in Geetha Govindham (2018), has written and directed Family Star. KU Mohanan is the cinematographer, while editing is helmed by Marthand K Venkatesh. AS Prakash is the art director.

The official trailer for Family Star will be released on March 28.
