The makers of the much-awaited Pawan Kalyan starrer Ustaad Bhagat Singh released their brief teaser on Tuesday, titling it ‘Bhagat’s Glaze.’ The film is an official remake of the 2016 Tamil film Theri which starred Vijay, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Amy Jackson.

The teaser establishes Pawan Kalyan’s protagonist figure as a violent and ferocious cop who stops for nothing in his quest for justice, and as an officer who understands the importance of the police force for the prosperity of a society. The teaser also shows a brief glimpse of Sree Leela, the female protagonist of the film. 

This film is Harish Shankar's second collaboration with Pawan Kalyan after Gabbar Singh (2012), which was inspired from the Bollywood film Dabangg (2010). Ustaad Bhagat Singh also stars Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, Avinash, Gautami, Narra Srinu, Naga Mahesh, and Temper Vamsi.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the film, with cinematography by Ayananka Bose, editing by Chota K Prasad and action choreography by Ram-Lakshman.

The makers of Ustaad Bhagat Singh are yet to announce a release date for the film.
