Streaming platform Prime Video on Tuesday announced their new slate of films and shows that are scheduled for release this coming year. Among the many big-scale projects like Citadel and Matka King, one of the projects is a Telugu series titled Arabia Kadali.

Starring Satyadev and Anandhi in the lead, Arabia Kadali is reportedly a suspense-drama that revolves around a group of fishermen from rival villages who inadvertently trespass into international waters and find themselves imprisoned in a foreign jail. 

Satyadev was last seen in the 2022 film Gurthunda Seethakalam. Anandhi, meanwhile, is popular for her work in films like Pariyerum Perumal (2018), Zombie Reddy (2021) and Custody (2023)

The show is directed by Surya Kumar. Surya has also worked as one of the scriptwriters for the series, along with Krish Jagarlamudi, Chintakindi Srinivas Rao, and Sunil D. 

Arabia Kadali is produced by Y. Rajeev Reddy and J Saibabu under the banner of First Frame Entertainments Pvt Ltd. More details about the show’s primary cast and crew and the premiere date are awaited.
