Streaming platform Prime Video recently announced their oncoming slate of movies and shows that are scheduled to release this year. Among other big projects across all language industries, the slate includes two projects with actor-producer Rana Daggubati.

The first collaboration is titled The Rana Connection, a talk show hosted by Rana Daggubati himself where the actor engages in conversations with friends and peers from the Indian film fraternity.

Rana is also producing a film for Amazon Prime, titled Cheekati Lo. Directed by Chandra Pemmaraju, Cheekati Lo is touted as an investigation-crime thriller that centres on the journey of a young, determined woman who intends to unravel the truth behind the crimes of a serial rapist. The primary cast and other crew members for Cheekati Lo are yet to be announced, though.

The Rana Connection is not the first time the audience will see Rana as a host; the actor has been hosting the Telugu TV talk show No. 1 Yaari with Rana since 2017. The actor has also been involved as a producer and presenter for films like Pareshan (2023) and Keedaa Cola (2023).
