Guntur Kaaram, which released in January, received a lot of praise for its soundtrack, particularly the song ‘Kurchi Madathapetti’ and its energetic dance moves by the film’s lead pair Mahesh Babu and Sreeleela. The latest to join the fan club is renowned cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin.

Speaking to popular Youtuber Prasanna Agoram (more popularly known as PDogg) on his podcast channel, Ashwin said, “There is a new Mahesh Babu movie called Guntur Kaaram. Please watch. It’s a jolly entertaining movie. Sreeleela has danced brilliantly; I was awestruck by her moves.” Ashwin also noted how Mahesh Babu himself is an extraordinary dancer, and Sree Leela’s dance moves only added to the entertainment value.

Guntur Kaaram was directed by Trivikram Srinivas, who had earlier directed Mahesh Babu in two big hits, Athadu (2005) and Khaleja (2016).  The film starred actors like Prakash Raj, Vennela Kishore and Ramya Krishnan in significant roles, among others.
