Kannappa makers to unveil comic book based on their film

We had recently reported that Prabhu Deva has joined the shoot of the Manchu Vishnu-starrer Kannappa in New Zealand. The makers of the film have now announced that they will be unveiling a comic book based on the film on March 19, which also happens to be Mohan Babu’s birthday. The announcement reads as follows, “Mark your calendars for March 19 as we unveil the highly anticipated Kannappa comic book! Join us in honouring the birthday of Dr M Mohan Babu Garu with this thrilling launch! Get ready for an adventure like no other!” 

Kannappa is a film based on the lore of Shiva. In addition to Manchu Vishnu, an ensemble of seasoned actors across industries, including Preity Mukundhan, Mohanlal, Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, Devaraj, Mohan Babu, Mukesh Rishi, Aishwariyaa Bhaskaran, Kaushal Manda and Raghu Babu, form a part of the film’s principal cast. Kannappa, produced by AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory,  is written and directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. Manchu Vishnu has penned the film's screenplay, with the story provided by Parachuri Gopal Krishna, G Nageshwara Reddy, Eshwar Reddy and Thota Prasad. Mani Sharma and Stephen Devassy are composing music for Kannappa. Sheldon Chau is the cinematographer of the film, with editing provided by Anthony.
